Happy Birthday Princess!

You are a whole 3 years old today! That just blows me away. And I was even there three years ago when we all met you. When you were born, I had the most difficult time delivering you. You just didn't seem to want to co-operate. In fact one nurse said "Boy her head keeps coming out a little and then goes back in." (If someone wasn't holding my foot at the time, I might have kicked her gently moved her out of the way! Not what you want to here right at that moment.) I thought for sure you must be huge with a huge ole head. But nope, you came out about the same size as your big sister was.

Ever since then, you surprise me daily with your personality. I'm shocked at how much of your dramatic personality I can already see. I had no idea that a three year old could do so many expressions using JUST her eyes! You have the gift of encouragement. We can be walking around in just our comfy scrubs and you'll say "Daddy, I like your shirt!" or "Mommy, I like your pants!" And without any prompting you would cheer your sister on at her soccer games. You still love for me to hold you and rock you in the chair, and I'll truly be sad when you no longer ask me for that. You have a huge sweet tooth. Chocolate is your favorite food group. And you don't believe you could ever have enough purses or shoes!

Our world is infinitely more brighter with your shining face in it. I love you more than words could express! You are a piece of my heart. Happy Birthday to my Princess!
